For children of all ages!

The Smyrna Public Library offers many reading and story time programs for children of all ages to help parents instill a lifelong love of reading.

• The Youth Services Department won the 2005 Georgia Library Association Eason Associates Program Award!  2008 will be an even better year with more programming and increasing use of the library resources.
  
• The 2007 Summer Reading Club program was the most successful ever.  More than 100 programs were presented in two months.  The 2008 Summer Reading Club is in full swing right now and will end July 31st with a party featuring the winning recipe in our cookbook contest.

About forty children's programs are held each month throughout the school year.  In addition there is at least one special all ages Family Story Program each month.
